If you wish to appeal against a Parking Charge Notice, you must do so within 28 days of the date of Notice.

You can appeal using the online form on this page or by sending your appeal to PCN Processing Department, Suite 255, Communications House, 9 St Johns Street, Colchester, Essex, CO2 7NN.

All appeals must include Full Name, Address, Vehicle Registration and the Parking Charge Notice Number; you can only appeal ONE Parking Charge Notice at a time, to appeal more than one Parking Charge Notice please fill in the form again.

The Parking Charge discount will be frozen from the date the Appeal has been received, we aim to respond in writing or by email within 14 working days, but please be aware that we have up to 35 days to answer them. If you have supplied an e-mail address, you will be notified as to the outcome of your appeal by e-mail. Therefore, please ensure that your e-mail address is serviceable.

If your appeal is not upheld, then you will be eligible to use the Independent Appeals Service POPLA, details will be made available at the appropriate time.

Appeals cannot be considered over the telephone or by sending an e-mail, we currently only accept Appeals sent using the online form below or sent to us by post.
