Refund and Cancellations Terms and Conditions
CAR PARK TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Subject to the conditions laid out here Total Car Parks Ltd will endeavour to refund any paid parking session on the Car Park for which you are able to provide valid evidence of
i) Your inability to access the nominated car park, and
ii) your vehicle being parked elsewhere for the entirety of your booking, and
iii.) your alternative parking session costs as a result of using an alternative location.
Refund requests must be made within 7 days from the last date of your paid parking session; any request made after this time will be declined without consideration.
Nominated Car Park not available
If we are prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of our business and obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including acts of God, governmental action, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labour disputes), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and:
i) offer you parking and related services in an alternative car park than the nominated car park to which the booking relates, or
ii) credit you additional parking session(s) equal to the wholly unused sessions which you have paid in full for. This can be redeemed as an extension to an existing season permit or in part payment to a new season permit purchase, or
iii) a refund for a season permit session where the parking session on the nominated car park has already commenced. The refund will be the price paid for the season permit less the full day/24 hour rate for each day completed on your parking session, including the day the request has been made, in addition, you will incur an administration charge of £10.00 or 10% of the value of the payment made for the parking session, whichever is the highest.
Where we are prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of our business and obligations under our contract and/or these Pre-booking Terms and Conditions due to car park operational reasons, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and:
i) offer you parking and related services in an alternative car park than the nominated car park to which the booking relates, or
ii) credit you additional parking session(s) equal to the wholly unused sessions which you have paid in full for. This can be redeemed as an extension to an existing season permit or in part payment to a new season permit purchase.
Cancellation and refund policy
a) Cancellation by you
If you wish to cancel your booking or part of it, you may do so through the portal which you made the original purchase on, or by emailing us at info@totalcarparks.co.uk.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the entry time and date specified in your booking will receive a refund. Please note that this right to a refund does not affect your legal rights. A cancellation charge will be deducted in respect of any cancellation. This charge will be £10.00 or 10% of the value of the payment made for the parking session, whichever is the highest. No refund will be given for cancellations made on the day of the entry time and date specified in your booking. We will not refund any telephone booking administration charge or credit card surcharge or other charges levied by your utilities provider.
b) Amendments or upgrades
If you wish to amend your booking or part of it, you may do so through the website or booking partner. Amendments made more than 48 hours before the entry time and date specified in your booking will receive a refund if one is due. Please note that this right to a refund does not affect your legal rights. An amendment charge of £10.00 or 10% of the value of the payment made for the parking session, whichever is the highest will be deducted in respect of any amendment, or if the change requires additional parking time not specified in your booking you will have to pay the full daily rate from time to time of the Nominated Car Park. No refund will be given for cancellations made on the day of the entry time and date specified in your booking. We will not refund any telephone booking administration charge or credit card surcharge or other charges levied by your utilities provider.
c)Cancellation by us for breach
We may also cancel the contract between us at any time on notice to you if you breach any of the pre-booking Terms and Conditions or misuse your booking in any way, such as (for example) transferring your booking to another person or allowing another person to use your booking without making the appropriate amendments prior to use.
d)Refunds – Nominated Car Park not available for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel your booking in the circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including acts of God, governmental action, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labour disputes), or you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the entry time and date specified in your booking, then the refund will be the price paid for the season permit less the full day/24 hour rate for each day completed on your parking session, including the day the request has been made, in addition, you will incur an administration charge of £10.00 or 10% of the value of the payment made for the parking session, whichever is the highest.
Refund procedure A refund will only be made where you can provide us with a pre-paid booking Reference. Refunds are only made to the credit or debit card with which payment was originally made. We do not issue refunds by cheque.
Failure to follow procedures If you do not follow the cancellation and/or amendment procedures set out in these Pre-booking Terms and Conditions, no retrospective refund will be given after the entry time and date specified in your booking.
i)No other rights to refund Save as expressly provided for in these Pre-booking Terms and Conditions, no refunds will be given in respect of any booking cancellation and/or amendment.
