New signs, new machines, new solutions! Here’s how we have been adapting to change and innovating our approach to car park management and enforcement.
If you have been following us on social media (links in the sidebar 👉) you may have seen that we recently finished implementing a new set-up for 18 hotel sites across the UK in the space of just three weeks! Between installing all-new signs, ANPR cameras and payment/validation machines at each of these hotel sites, and the series of internal preparations that come along with this, it has been very busy in the Total Car Parks office.
On top of this, at the end of July the BPA and IPC published their new joint Code of Practice for the private parking sector, necessitating a complete rework of some of our car park signs to comply with the new code. How did we manage all of this, you ask? Because our dedicated team works tirelessly across the clock to deliver at the highest standard for our customers and clients… That, and lots of caffeine!
The below image which we shared on our LinkedIn page shows some examples of the new signs custom-made in the client’s own brand colours, as well as one of our shiny new payment machines.
Speaking of signs, another thing you may have seen on our socials was the below recent installation completed at one of our new car parks in Doncaster. This particular job required a creative approach with unique sign fixtures and designs in an effort to improve visibility. The result: we now stand out from the other car parks in the area and continue to enrich the local community with better access to convenient and affordable parking.
It is now nearly the end of the year (where have the days gone?). But if you think that means our work will be slowing down, think again.
The very recent addition of a prestigious local college to our portfolio of sites has already seen great results for the client, as well as a heavy workload for our dedicated customer service team helping to familiarise students with a new parking system. Drawing from the successful implementation of QR code signs in several previous car parks, we have continued to strive towards making it as simple and easy as possible for our customers to park with us. This site was no exception. A mixture of brightly coloured banners, small signs and large signs displaying QR codes were used all over the car park to help people adjust to the changes.
We would love to stick around and talk all day long about how we pulled this off, but we also want to keep this post short and sweet. So, if you want to know more, please get in touch. And if there is anything in particular you want us to talk about in future posts, be sure to leave a comment to let us know.
P.S. We wish everyone a great Christmas and a very happy New Year! 🎄🅿
